Welcome! Let's get real. Most of us live in an environment that promotes the opposite of health. We have busy schedules that leave little time for cooking, an abundance of ready-to-eat processed food, sedentary jobs and technologies that reduce our need to move. Are you tired of carrying around extra weight? Are you confused by the mixed messages in the media about diet and health? My Approach to Nutrition Change: Science-based and Personalized

Science-based means that I use the latest nutrition research and recommendations when helping people with their diets. A science-based approach is the most trustworthy path in a world with a lot of misinformation. I am aware of diet trends and will be able to tell you if there is any truth behind them.   

Personalized means that I find that happy medium between your current diet and the changes you need to make for a healthier you. I meet you where you are to get you where you want to go. Sometimes I may find those one or two behaviors that seem innocent but in reality are quite significant. Other times I may take your usual eating plan and tweak it to be more health promoting. We might decide that you need a meal by meal plan and I can do that too. I always take into account your current lifestyle and food environments - knowing that many circumstances and cues influence our food choices. I do not support one diet plan for everyone - you are unique and what you eat should be unique too.
